How to plan a project....

If you are a Final year engineering student, that too from CS, EC, EE, IS, this post might help you in taking right decisions for your project plan! If you are from below levels, keep reading, one day you will be needing these!

At the start of the 7th semester itself you must have a clear picture about the project plan. You must be answerable to these simple questions, 1.What is the problem statement?  2.simple modular solution for the problem? 3. Which domain you are using?

If you still have confusions, please get it cleared. If you have any plans of consulting the project consultants, drop those plans right now! Just think once, if you have no idea about your own project, if you are paying someone to do your project, who is gonna hire you tomorrow! If you are not capable of doing simple academic project which company on earth will hire you for their projects! There is an enjoyment in doing your own project! Don't miss the biggest satisfaction of your education life!

Here are the pro tips to plan a project!(applicable to ECE,EEE,CS,IS branch students)

Step 1. Choose a domain.
For ECE/EEE, Major domains are Embedded systems and VLSI. Majority of the project makers stick to Embedded systems as VLSI is quite complicated and costly too.
Using arduino, raspberry pi, gsm, gps technologies is too common now-a-days.

Step 2. Make a real time problem statement.
For the beginners, its very difficult to observe problems. I prefer IEEE journals as reference to decide a problem.

Step 3. Solution for the problem!
This is the biggest step and it is time consuming. This step involves creation of block diagrams and hardware selection, software requirements based on which, a synopsis can be prepared.

Sometimes, IEEE paper may have everything that you need. All you need is to write codes to your projects. You can get free IEEE papers from a website called SCI HUB. But I recommend you to use IEEE journals with authorization.

Do not make it too late. Have confidence! Work for your satisfaction..
